BI Outdoor are now recruiting new members 2012/2013!

What is BI Outdoor?

BI Outdoor is a student run association dedicated to promoting and spreading outdoor activities to the students at Handelshøyskolen BI. Our vision is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience the Norwegian country first hand. We arrange both shorter trips in the immediate surroundings, and longer excursions to the far away.

BI Outdoor is a multicultural committee and is open for both Norwegian andforeign students. That is why most of our information is in English. If anything, this is also an excellent opportunity to practice your English!

Anybody can apply membership at BI Outdoor, and our trips are for both the more experienced mountaineer and beginning mountain enthusiast. The only requirement we have is that you are open to fun, exciting and social activities in amazing surroundings with a fantastic travel companion.

How to apply
Write a personal motivational letter (about half a page) and explain to us why you want to become a member, are you here for one semester? and do you have some experience?  send it to us at info.outdoor@sbio.no within Sunday 6th of September   Then we will go through the applications and select the most motivated and committed members. We accept more than 100 members, 50%international and 50% norweigan- students.

The membership fee cost 200kroner each semester. As soon as you are a member you will recived the bill.  With this fee you are contributing to that BI Outdoor can buy more gear for our trips like lavvos, primus, gps and so on.
